Stage (iii) archaeological excavation was carried out at Drumderry 5 and 6 in advance of the N4 Collooney to Castlebaldwin Road Development, Co. Sligo. The site was discovered during Stage (i) archaeological testing and was assessed during Stage (ii) Pre-Excavation Services (Registration Number E4627).
The excavation of Drumderry 5 and 6 revealed stake-holes, post-holes, pits, gullies and spreads. These featured were found in two loose clusters in the westerns and eastern extents of the site. There were also some isolated features positioned at a distance from these clusters.
