The developer received planning permission from Meath County Council to construct a storey and a half-style dwelling with detached garage, septic tank, domestic site entrance and associated site works. An archaeological assessment was requested.
Eight test trenches were excavated. Three features were excavated in two of the trenches. Archaeological material was not recorded from the fill of any of them and they were interpreted as modern land drains. No archaeological objects were recovered.
