A possible charcoal spread (F3), and a possible linear or sub-rectangular pit (F4) filled with sterile grey silt were identified at Sheean 2 during testing in 2015. A number of land drains were also exposed. Excavations here confirmed that the features were either of natural origin or represented land clearance/improvement works. No archaeological features were identified.
