Two small pits were identified at Drumaleheen 7 during testing. One of these pits was sampled; it measured 0.48m in length, 0.4m in width and 0.2m in depth. It was filled with a silty clay and charcoal. A radiocarbon date of 1135–976 BC was returned for this charcoal sample. No other features were identified during the excavation phase and an area of possible burning was deemed to be non-archaeological in nature. No finds were recovered from the site
