A burnt stone spread (F3) measuring 10m in length north-west/south-east by 7m in width by 0.35m in depth was identified at Attireesh 2. The site appeared to have been heavily disturbed by a series of land drains, excavated trenches and previous agricultural land clearance works. No finds were recovered from this site. Post-excavation analysis is ongoing for this site and it is hoped to obtain dating evidence from radiocarbon analysis of charcoal samples recovered.
