An area measuring 100m2 was stripped of topsoil and cleaned by hand at Aghalusky 2 where a possible pit had been identified by previous testing in 2015. Pre-excavation services confirmed that the possible pit was natural in origin. Further archaeological assessment indicated there were no archaeological features present and hence no further excavation took place.
