A number of non-archaeological features were identified below the sod and topsoil (F001) at a depth of 0.36m. They consisted of five tree boles (F010, F014, F015, F022 & F023), twelve non-archaeological features (F003-F009, F011, F012, F016, F020 & F021) which were identified as areas of root/land clearance, and area of burnt bog (F025 & F026). Two field drains (F017 & F018) were also identified. The field drain F017 was orientated north-west/south-east, measured 0.7m in width and 0.1m in depth and had been filled with a loose mid brown silty clay (F030). The second field drain, F018, was orientated north-east/south-west, measured 0.75m in width to a depth of 0.11m and had been filled with a mid-brown silty clay (F029).
