The remains of a small disturbed fulacht fiadh (F003) were identified below the sod and topsoil (F001) at a depth of 0.32m. It had been cut by a number of post-medieval/modern cultivation furrows (F006). It measured 13.5m in length, 11.51m in width and 0.3m in thickness and contained two layers, separated by isolated deposits of brown peaty clay (F005). The upper layer (F003) of the burnt spread consisted of a loose dark brown clay with stone and occasional charcoal while the lower layer consisted of a grey marly clay (F004) with stone and charcoal. No associated trough or pits were exposed. The two possible pits (F007 & F008) were non-archaeological in nature.
