A total of eleven test trenches were excavated on the site. A large number of linear features and other features of archaeological potential were observed in the test trenches. These were investigated by means of section and sondage and all proved to be modern in date. A single feature of archaeological significance was found ([c.03] in Trench 6). A small number of worked Mesolithic flints were found during sieving, particularly in the northern half of Trench 2.
