A total of eleven test trenches comprising 1302m² of linear test trenches were excavated on the site. A number of linear features and other features of archaeological potential were observed in the test trenches. These were investigated by means of section and sondage and all proved to be modern in date. Sixteen worked flints were found through a scan of the topsoil from the trenches and during sieving of topsoil. No features of archaeological significance were identified in any of the test trenches excavated.
