An assessment was carried out at Firoda Lower or Glenmagoo, Castlecomer in Co. Kilkenny in advance of a residential development, situated 100m east of a Moated Site (KK005-069). 115 linear metres of test trenches were excavated across the site and targeted on areas of proposed ground disturbance. No archaeological features were exposed in the course of testing.
