In 2015 test trenching was carried out under this licence along the route of the proposed N76 Callan Road Realignment scheme, Co. Kilkenny. In October 2016 the licence was extended to allow for additional test trenching in advance of electricity pole erection related to the road development but outside the CPO. Five small trenches were excavated but no additional archaeological features were encountered.
