Monitoring of ground works associated with Glanaruddery wind farm development at Dromadda More, Knocknagoshel, Co. Kerry, was carried out over several months beginning in February 2016. The permitted development consists of an 11 turbine wind farm with associated infrastructure, including access roadways. The majority of the ground works consisted of peat removal at turbine bases, hard stand areas, access tracks and the upgrading of existing roads and track. No archaeological finds, features or deposits were noted during the course of the ground works which took place over a period of 9 months in varying weather conditions.
