Monitoring of marine suction dredging was undertaken in April 2016 on a 24-hour basis along the inner and outer limits of the deep-water berthing area of Fenit Port, Co. Kerry. Dredging was undertaken by the Mahury, a 65.51m trailing suction dredger, in association with a second bed-levelling vessel, the Kees Jr. which also functioned as a survey vessel. No archaeological material was recovered.
