Test trenching was undertaken in advance of a proposed graveyard extension at St Carthach’s Church of Ireland church, which is built on the site of an earlier ecclesiastical site. Six trenches were excavated by machine across the location of the proposed graveyard location. Nothing of an archaeological nature was found.
