Stage (iii) archaeological excavation at An Bhánóg Theas 2 (Ministerial Direction No.: A070) was undertaken in advance of the N86 Lispole to Ballynasare Lower & Ballygarret to Camp Road Improvement Scheme in County Kerry. All works were funded by Transport Infrastructure Ireland. An Bhánóg Theas 2 consisted of a charcoal-production kiln and the remains of a ridge and furrow agricultural system.
