Testing was undertaken on the site of a proposed dwelling house. Five test trenches were excavated with a mechanical excavator, but no finds or features of archaeological interest were recorded. The proposed development site lies adjacent to the site of a levelled enclosure and an associated children’s burial ground, but these will not be impacted upon by the proposed development.
