The Bull Wall to Causeway Road section of the Sutton to Sandycove Cycleway & Footway Scheme will involve the construction of a 2km-long cycle track to link in with 6km of existing cycleways along North Dublin Bay. It is also proposed to undertake watermain realignment works in tandem with the cycleway construction. Monitoring of the groundworks was undertaken throughout 2016 and revealed the presence of tramlines associated with the Clontarf to Hill of Howth Tramroad. No other archaeological material was recorded.
