An archaeological assessment was carried out at the site of a proposed residential development on Drynam Road to the east of Swords town centre. Three trenches (121 linear metres) were excavated in the garden area to the rear of an existing building; topsoil was dark brown loamy clay with frequent tree roots. No features, structures or objects of archaeological significance were noted.
