Monitoring of construction groundworks at Nos 47–53 Orwell Park, Rathgar, Dublin 6 was undertaken in November and December 2016 in response to planning conditions attached to the proposed development (Planning Ref.: 3012/14). It was carried out under a reactivation of licence 15E0357, following an earlier phase of monitoring undertaken in 2015. The 2016 works involved monitoring of topsoil stripping within the southern extent of the development area. Nothing of archaeological significance was discovered during the course monitoring.
