Monitoring was carried out in association with the construction of a 5 ‐ 9 storey mixed use building, located at 13‐18 City Quay, Dublin 2. Whilst modern disturbance within the site was identified, many of the reclamation layers deposited within the site during the late 18th century were found to be present to a depth of 4‐5m. These sealed natural estuarine silts and sands. Nothing of archaeological significance was identified.
