A programme of test trenching was carried out within the site of a proposed warehouse development at Parslickstown on the Navan Road, Mulhuddart, Dublin 15. Testing was undertaken in response to planning conditions attached to the proposed development laid out by Fingal County Council (Planning Ref.: FW15A/0167) on 23 September 2016. The site has been subjected to significant modern disturbance having functioned as a construction supply depot in the late 20th century. It was apparent that the site had been previously stripped of topsoil and covered in hardcore (804 grade stone). Large deposits of building rubble and construction debris were noted in the trenches. No features or deposits of archaeological significance were identified during the programme of testing.
