Monitoring was carried out within a site that was formerly associated with the Artane Industrial School and once contained a late 19th-century chapel. This building was demolished in 2010 after being badly damaged by fire. The removal of a tarmac surface from across the site was monitored. Modern drains were noted as crossing the site. Nothing of archaeological significance was identified during the course of the works.
