A licence was sought to undertake monitoring of the redevelopment of the Boland’s Mill Site, Dublin 2. The proposed development area is located to the immediate east of the Grand Canal Docks and is bordered to the east by Barrow Street and to the north by Ringsend Road. Monitoring was recommended by IAC Ltd in the archaeological chapter of the EIS that accompanied the planning application for the site (Planning Ref.: DSDZ3796/14).
Works are ongoing and an updated bulletin will be submitted following completion. No archaeological finds or features have been identified to date.
