An archaeological evaluation in the form of test trenching at the site of a proposed footpath between Moneyslane Road and Deehommed Old Graveyard (DOW035:025) has confirmed that while no archaeological remains or external un-marked burials associated with the graveyard or with prehistoric/early historic occupation survive within the footpath footprint, sub-surface remains associated with Industrial Heritage Mill Site IHR03320:000:00 and Scheduled Monument Chimney Stack DOW035:500 partially survive along the central portion of the footpath.
