Test trenching that was carried out at the proposed development site at 55 Shandon Park Belfast, Co. Down (Phase 2) on 16 August 2016. No archaeological material was uncovered in any of the trenches. There was no indication of any features associated with Shandon Motte, DOW 002:001 (located less than 150m to the north west), within the development area.
