An earlier phase to an upstanding building in the garden of the site was identified, although it is clear that this earlier building was erected between the 1834 and 1859 editions of the Ordinance Survey maps. It is interesting to note that the building materials of the building in the garden and the house were the same suggesting that the main house was possibly rebuilt at this time. No other archaeological material was uncovered on the site.
