Testing was undertaken at this site prior to the development of 8 semi-detached houses, 11 apartments and one commercial unit. Three test trenches were excavated across the north-east and western end of the site. The remainder of the site was subject to a full clean-back using a flat bucket. This was due to the fact that the majority of the site had been stripped of topsoil prior to the archaeological investigation. Nothing of archaeological significance was encountered.
