Test trenching was carried out in between 31 October and 4 November 2016, within the townland of Foilakilly, Co. Kerry. Six key-hole test trenches were excavated by hand. Evidence was found for 19th-century domestic settlement but nothing indicative of burials.
Nothing of archaeological significance was identified.
