Monitoring of the construction of a 14-turbine wind farm within a commercial forestry plantation was undertaken on a phased basis in 2016. The development utilises the existing forest road network and the turbines were constructed within cleared areas of forestry. The proposed turbine locations were inspected following felling and the ground surface in all areas was found to have been disturbed by planting and drainage works. No archaeological finds, features or deposits were identified during subsequent monitoring of construction works.
