Test trenches at a proposed development site in Ballyvoe, Doolin, Co. Clare did not reveal any archaeological features or deposits. Elements of a post-medieval field system were identified but these are not thought to be related to adjacent Recorded Monument CL008-004001 (field system). A probable medieval silver finger ring was recovered from ploughsoil in one of the trenches.
