Monitored mechanical test trenching was carried out oo 15 June 2016. The site was close to the former Moravian church, associated buildings and graveyards (ARM 013:030), which is a monument of importance and protected by Policy BH 2 of PPS 6. Four test trenches were mechanically excavated under archaeological supervision on the western portion of the site; the site was sterile of archaeological material.
