An archaeological evaluation was undertaken prior to environmental improvement works within the grounds of Lisburn Cathedral, Lisburn.
Monitoring was conducted of the removal of the hard surfaces along which the new paths would be laid. These extend to either side of the cathedral. Monitoring was also conducted of the removal of hard surfacing at the steps at the entrance to the cathedral grounds.
No archaeological deposits were identified during monitoring of the ground works.
