Monitoring was reuqired in advance of the installation of a storm sewer extension at Ballynure Road, Ballyclare. The section of pipeline was located approx. 10m from Scheduled Monument ANT 045:026, a motte, and traversed an area of playing field. The ground was comprised of a significant depth of made ground, containing modern bottles, plastic and metal. Nothing of archaeological significance was noted during the works.
