Archaeological investigation took place in advance of a proposed development consisting of a residential dwelling, septic tank and percolation area within 1.5 acres. The site is situated to the immediate south (0.4m) of a holy well (WX029-023). Five trenches were opened across the footprint of the development site. Nothing of archaeological interest was encountered in the course of the test excavation.
