Testing and metal-detection was undertaken at St Senan’s Primary School in Templeshannon in response to planning conditions. No features of archaeological significance were uncovered however some 18th/19th-centuy pottery sherds were uncovered as well as some metal objects. The site is located on the slopes of Vingear Hill, a 1798 battlefield site.
