On 27 July 2015 testing was carried out on a domestic house site at Kilkenny West, Co. Westmeath. These trenches were dug due to the site's proximity to WM023-025, a medieval church located approximately 240m west of the proposed dwelling. Six trenches were excavated by a mechanical excavator with a toothless graded bucket. No archaeological remains were found.
