The property is a stone-built three-bay two-storey house, which had a modern extension to the rear. The extension was demolished to make room for a new two-storey extension. The terrace did not exist at the time of the 1872 O.S.Town Plan but is shown on the 1905 O.S. map surveyed in 1901. The house was occupied at the time of the 1901 census. The monitoring of the demolition and subsequent shallow excavations for the extension showed that no archaeological deposits survived in the area.
