A systematic testing programme was undertaken in viable areas of the site between 16 and 17 November 2015. The testing comprised a total of 1432m² of linear test trenches, which equated to 10% of the total development area (14378m²). The testing was undertaken in order to determine the nature, extent and location of any potential sub-surface features, finds or deposits of archaeological consequence. Nothing of archaeological significance was identified in any of the test trenches.
