Monitoring took place of the river works associated with a bridge replacement project on the King’s River over two short seasons, in 2014 and 2015. Monitoring observed the removal of the existing bridge, and the associated riverbed and riverbank impact works. The existing bridge was founded on natural river gravels. There was no indication of pre-existing man-made features at the site, and no material of archaeological significance was observed.
