Stage (i) standard archaeological testing was undertaken in advance of construction of the proposed N17 Thornhill Bridge Road Realignment, Co Sligo. A total of 4 trenches, amounting to 261 linear metres, were excavated to the level of subsoil. A section of the remains of a 19th-century mill-race was recorded. No further archaeological remains were noted.
