Unlicensed monitoring was carried out during the construction of a proposed rear extension at 3 Nicholas Street, Dundalk, Co. Louth on 30 October 2015.
The concrete surface of the rear yard measured 0.15m thickness and lay above a layer of brown clay with stone. This measured 0.3m in thickness and lay above the natural orange clay. No archaeological features or deposits were exposed and no finds were recovered.
