Test trenching was undertaken at 6 different locations with a total length of 233m in the proposed site of a quarry extension at Coan East, Co. Kilkenny, on behalf of Seamus Ring Plant Hire Ltd on 20 November 2015. Testing was conducted in accordance with Kilkenny Co. Council’s further information request (RFI). There are no known monuments in the area tested. Testing identified no features or finds of archaeological interest.
