Context 1 was sub-oval in plan measuring 0.95m x 0.88m x 0.12m in depth. The feature was filled entirely with a mid-brown sandy-clay with occasional charcoal flecking throughout. There was a slight pinkish discolouration of the natural subsoil on the eastern edge that may suggest some low heat in-situ burning.
Context 3 was oval shaped in plan and measured 0.37m x 0.28m x 0.14m in depth. It was filled entirely with a dark brown charcoal-rich silty clay with gravel and small pebbles throughout.
Context 5 was an oval shaped feature with a shallow concave profile. It measured 0.74m x 0.27m x 0.1m in depth. The primary fill of the feature was located along the eastern edge of the feature and was almost exclusively charcoal, probably indicating the fragments of in-situ burning. The secondary fill was a grey-brown sandy-clay with occasional charcoal flecking and stones throughout.
