A programme of monitoring of site preparation/trench excavation works associated with the construction of a conference centre with associated drainage and percolation works was undertaken in compliance with the Grant of Planning. The plot is located c. 50m to the north-west of a Church & Graveyard (KD027-017 and -01701, respectively). No subsurface features or deposits of archaeological interest and/or potential were uncovered, and no artefacts of archaeological interest were recovered, during the course of the works.
