Monitoring of the groundworks was undertaken in advance of the construction of Celbridge Primary Care Centre in November 2015 and revealed what appeared to be a single pit burial. This was excavated under an extension to the testing licence after consultation with the NMS. The bones were from an animal source and probably associated with the construction of the adjacent cemetery wall.
