An impact assessment with testing was undertaken in advance of the construction of an industrial facility, due to its proximity to KE067-014—, a ringfort. Two pits had been previously excavated when the industrial estate was first developed (KE067-121001- and KE067-121002-). Nineteen trenches were dug and four of these were positioned to ascertain the outermost enclosing element of the enclosure, which they did. Nothing of a archaeological nature was discovered in the remaining trenches. A buffer zone was agreed around the monument and development proceeded.
