Archaeologically monitored topsoil stripping was undertaken at Mageradunbar Quarry, in close vicinity to FER211-011 (an early medieval rath/burial ground).

The topsoil strip was to the north of the monument, between it and the current quarry face. The strip was a 20m-wide arc, located 10m out from the scheduled zone of FER211-011. The total length of the strip was c. 120m.

No archaeological material was uncovered.
