Archaeological testing/evaluation was undertaken on the scheme between 1 and 2 October 2015.

Monitoring of a topsoil strip (watching brief) at the location of 17 polesets that are situated in close proximity (approximately 100m) to recorded archaeology across the scheme. The wooden polesets will vary between single Poles and H-Poles. The single Poles have a ground footprint of approximately 2m x 1m. The H-Poles have a ground footprint of approximately 3m x 1m. Trenches were excavated by mini digger fitted with a toothless ditching bucket. Nothing of archaeological significance was identified in any of the test trenches.
