A programme of archaeological monitoring was undertaken along the right and left banks of the River Dodder from Balls Bridge to Anglesea Bridge in association with a programme of flood alleviation works. These works were undertaken by the Office of Public Works on behalf of Dublin City Council. No archaeological deposits, features or finds were identified during the monitoring programme.
